Eyes left lads! What you see is the provisional cover for Volume One of Rat Pack, coming soon from Titan Books. Weighing in at 128 pages, this release covers the earliest adventures of Major Taggart and his band of brigands. Our lads here at the Best of Battle Headquarters have been hard at work rescanning the whole bloody thing all over again in a far higher resolution to satisfy the quality control boffins over at Titan HQ. This means top-flight reproduction of those long-lost original art pages for you, and a few quid in the Best of Battle coffers for us.
With releases also due for Johnny Red, Major Eazy, Darkie’s Mob, Best of Land Battle and Volume 7 of Charley’s War, there’s a good few months ahead for loyal Battle fans, but it all depends on the books shifting off the shelves if we’re to see more releases, so have a look here for purchases from Amazon, who’ve somewhat jumped the gun on release dates, as per usual.
The finished product is right here on my desk, ready to be dispatched to the production lines, so don’t hold your breath on that August date, but hopefully it won’t be too much later. Do your duty lads, get out there and buy one.
